Raquel SantanaRaquel is a freelance event producer and corporate meeting planner with experience planning events and conferences for groups of 10 to 750+. She has earned a reputation as a valuable partner offering creative solutions, strategic planning and solid results.

After founding Flying Woman in 2002, Raquel accepted the role of Administrative Coordinator for the 4th Annual e-Philanthropy Conference, managing registration and logistics for over 600 attendees. Since then, she has worked with clients and vendors, honing her skills and developing industry contacts. In addition to independent project work, she partners with Blue Goose Events to produce conferences and meetings for Intuit, Inc., including their annual Leadership Conferences, Officer's Meetings, HR, Marketing, and Finance Forums

Raquel attended West Georgia College and continues to pursue various interests through education, travel, and her work with clients. She is a member of Mamapreneurs Inc., a resource, support and networking organization for mom business owners based in Portland, Oregon, and serving mom entrepreneurs everywhere.

She currently lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband and daughter. Hobbies include photography, reading, yoga, and travel.
